AI editor
The Reach Studio editor keeps you in one place — writing, editing, and teaching the AI without switching tools. Every change you make improves future generations automatically.
The editor works the same whether you're editing an AI-generated draft or writing from scratch. There is no separate "AI mode".
Inline AI bubble menu
Select any text in the editor to trigger the AI bubble menu. Available actions:
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Rewrite | Rewrites the selection from scratch, same meaning, better phrasing |
| Improve | Tightens the selection — removes filler, sharpens the point |
| Shorten | Cuts the selection to its core — removes padding |
| Expand | Adds detail and context to a thin sentence or paragraph |
| Change tone | Adjusts the selection to match a tone you specify inline |
Select the text to improve
Click and drag over a sentence, paragraph, or any span of text. The AI bubble appears above the selection.
Choose an action
Click the action that matches what you need — Improve for general quality, Shorten for length, Rewrite to start fresh.
Accept or undo
The AI replaces the selection inline. If you don't like the result, press Ctrl+Z to undo and try a different action.
Sticky toolbar
The toolbar stays fixed at the top of the editor as you scroll — so formatting controls and AI actions are always one click away regardless of article length.
Toolbar includes: Bold, Italic, Headings (H2/H3), Bullet list, Numbered list, Link, Blockquote, and the AI improve shortcut.
The feedback loop — how the AI learns
Every decision you make in the editor is a signal. There are two ways the AI learns:
Inline corrections
When you manually retype or significantly change an AI-generated sentence, Reach Studio detects the edit and notes the pattern. Over time, the AI stops generating similar phrasings for your project.
Rejection with a note
This is the most powerful teaching tool. When you reject an article:
Click Reject on the article
In the article review view, click Reject instead of Approve.
Add a feedback note
Type what was wrong: "Too many buzzwords", "Intro was too long", "The tone was too casual for a B2B audience", "Don't start with a question".
Submit the rejection
Click Submit. Reach Studio stores this note as an AI lesson — injected into the generation prompt for every future article in this project and channel.
Lessons are permanent and cumulative. A project with 20 rejection lessons produces noticeably better first drafts than a new project. The quality gap compounds over time.
Viewing and managing lessons
Go to Project settings → AI lessons to see all stored lessons for your project. You can:
- Edit a lesson to make it more precise
- Delete a lesson if it's no longer relevant
- See which channel a lesson applies to (project-wide vs. channel-specific)
Conflicting lessons can confuse the AI. If you have "always be formal" at project level and "be casual on TikTok" at channel level, the channel lesson wins. Review lessons periodically to remove contradictions.
What's next?
- Brand voice — set tone defaults that complement your lessons
- Publishing — approve a polished article and publish everywhere
